Never, ever, judge someone on how they look.  You will never truly understand who the person is until you know them.  Some of the nicest and normal looking people will surprise you by being some of the meanest people you will ever meet.  On the other hand, sometimes there are really scary looking people who are truly big teddy bears.  

I personally have a friend who is covered in tattoos.  he has gauges, a lip ring, and a septum piercing.  He also has a beard.  He is 19 years old and still in high school.  He is always getting in trouble and is having difficulties passing his classes.  From what I told you right there you probably have a picture of him in your head.  And your already judging him just by the description I gave.  

Well let me tell you something; he is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my whole entire life.  He is a huge teddy bear.  He only gets in trouble because he has a little bit of anger issues.  He is only failing his classes because he doesn’t do anything.  His test scores are actually above average.  He’s brilliant.  He is an amazing guitarist and singer.  When you talk to him, you can’t help but smile because kindness radiates off of him.  He is always smiling even though he’s really hurt inside.

So I think I have proven my point.  Never judge someone on the way look or the way act or appear to be, because you never truly know who they are until you get to know them.  So I’m asking you, next time you are about to judge someone, get to know them first and think about what it would feel like if someone was judging you.
